What colour is sadness? asked the star to the cherry tree as it left the frayed end of a cloud passing by in a hurry. Didnt you hear? I asked you what colour is sadness?
Its the colour the sea takes on at that very moment when the sun leans on its arms, its a wild dark blue colour.

What colour are dreams?
Dreams? Dreams are the colour of late afternoon.
What colour is joy? Its the colour of noon my sweet little star.
What colour is loneliness?
Loneliness is violet.

The star closed its eyes and leaned on the fence. It stayed there for a while, and rested.

What about love? I forgot to ask, what colour is love? Its the colour of gods eyes, answered the tree.

What about passion?
Passion is the colour of the moon when it is full.
Is that so? Passion is the colour of the moon, said the star. Then it looked far away, into the void and its eyes were filled with tears.
